Sartorialist: On the Street…..Ninth Ave., New York

This morning I discovered textbook, a tumblr that combines two of my favourite things: fashion and fiction. While I’ll admit that I don’t really jive with some of their modern-day sartorial representations of classic characters, I think they got their outfits for Edmond Dantes (The Count of Monte Cristo) spot on.

Bought a new pair of black boots today and had my all-time favourite shoes repaired.

Who’s ready for fall? This girl.

Before this summer, I hadn’t ever paid much attention to pants or shorts as a fashion item, settling for a few pairs of jeans and nothing more.

Had I not already realized their importance earlier this year, these would be the pants to convert me. They’re fantastic.

Saw the coolest shirt ever today while shopping. Alas, it was for men and $60 or so, so this little picture of us together is the extent of our sartorial affair. 

My mom gave me this awesome shirt of hers. Lo voy a estrenar.
