The Facebook Artist Conundrum

Posting my art on Facebook has recently been an issue with me. As I find myself dedicating a large portion of my summer to creating pieces I’m fine with sharing, I tempted by the idea of an instant audience of people that I’m familiar with. Of course, I share a lot of my work on Tumblr already , but somehow sharing it with strangers (though, most of you are my friends regardless haha)...

Today, Michael and I had our second art meeting to continue planning our installation/pseudo-show, and were forced to come to terms with the fact that we have a budget of $0.00. Bleh. Echoes

Finally done with this. Progress Shots I’m not all that great at remembering to take progress shots. Anyway, I based this off of echo-related subjects (the myth about the wood nymph Echo and the astronomical occurrence of light echoes). It’s pretty strange.

I just had a random thought. “:d” looks like a :o smiley with a line under it. I think that should mean the mouth (the o in this case) dropped to the floor, meaning the :d smiley should mean jaw dropping, not a variant of :p. Ok.
